Microsoft Kinect: Beyond Games



O Microsoft Kinect parece proporcionar outro tipo de utilização para além dos jogos.
Este equipamento vem dar vida à tecnologia anteriormente vista no filme de 2002 realizado por Steven Spielberg, Relatório Minoritário ("Minority Report"), com Tom Cruise como personagem principal.


Agora, em 2010, o controlo gestual aliado a comandos vocais parece ser uma infindável fonte de recursos para a Medicina conforme demonstrado no seguinte vídeo.

E, já agora, um cheirinho de Guerra das Estrelas utilizando, também, o Kinect da Microsoft. Trata-se de uma chamada de vídeo holográfica tridimensional em tempo real.


E, porque não, utilizá-lo no PC?.. Já correm rumores de que o MMO para PC Divine Souls suportará em breve o Kinect. O próprio slogan do jogo é "a tua consola ficará com ciúmes". Aliás, o próprio Bill Gates disse, em Julho de 2009, que "gostaria de ver o Kinect no Windows". 
A utilidade do Kinect não tem fim!
